Human Rights Issues

SUCCESS CRITERIA.


SC:
1. I will research more about Iqbal's issues.
2. I would write more easy information(sentences) so that the reader can read easily.


IQBAL MASIH.


My Questions.


1) Why did he die?
Well the Carpet Mafia People didn't like what he was doing. (speech,protesting)


2) What did he do to help child labour?
He did a speech to all the people to stop child labour.


3) When did he start working?
He started working when he was at the age of four.


4) How did he die?
He got shot at the back with a shotgun and it was Ashraf Hero.

My issue is Child Labour but I am also linking it to Iqbal Masih.


b) How has the issue developed historically?
This issue has developed because nowadays most parents can afford a proper living, so
they don't sell children anymore and also most of the children in the world gets
education.


c) Why is this issue considered a human rights issue?
     Because it is taking away his freedom to a healthy environment and a proper life.


d) Who has been involved with this issue? (include people and/or organizations)
     People who have been involved in this issues are BLLF, Carpet Mafia, Child Slave.


e) What does the Universal Declaration of Rights or the Children’s Declaration of Rights
     say regarding this issue? (find the article/s and quote them here)
     They shouldn't be torturing children and they should have a healthy, environment, proper life.
    
    
   f) Why do you feel that this issue is important?
    This issue is important because if there is no help from United Nations or Iqbal Masih most of the
    children now would be still working and they will have no education and the parents will sell them.
    MOST.


g) What responsibilities do we have as a society ensuring that this issue is taken
     seriously?
     We should inform the government.
